About · the person behind the numbers
Why I'm doing this

I'm Clint.
I'm a husband, a dad of three, a youth baseball coach, and someone trying to build a different kind of life for my family.
During the day, I still have a full-time job.
Around that, I'm building software, growing audiences, experimenting with ideas, coaching baseball, spending time with my family, and trying to figure out which of these bets can turn into something meaningful.
The goal isn't just to build companies for the sake of saying I built companies.
I want to create businesses that give my family more freedom over our time, let me spend more of my life doing work I actually care about, and eventually create things we can build together.
Some of what I'm working on is software.
Some of it is media.
A lot of it revolves around baseball, because baseball is already a huge part of our family's life.
And one day, I'd love to build a real baseball farm — a place that combines baseball, family, community, and a business we can grow together.
Why document it?
I don't know exactly how all of this turns out.
That's part of why I'm documenting it.
Most business stories get told backward. Someone succeeds, then explains the five things they supposedly knew all along.
I'd rather show the middle.
The ideas that work. The ones that don't. The things I build at night that nobody uses. The experiments that surprise me. The numbers when they're small. The mistakes. The AI workflows that save me hours. The marketing ideas that actually move something.
And hopefully, over time, the progress.
If you're building something too
If you're building something too — especially while balancing a career, a family, and everything else life throws at you — I hope there's something here you can use.
Maybe it's an idea. Maybe it's a prompt. Maybe it's an experiment you can steal. Maybe it's simply seeing someone else try to figure it out in real time.
Either way, you're welcome to follow along.
This is the build.
